The young girl was last seen after leaving her home in the Santa Martha Acatitla neighborhood to visit a nearby store. Family members explained that Perla Alison had asked for permission to buy candy but never came back. Her disappearance led to the activation of a nationwide Amber Alert, sparking a massive search effort by both authorities and community volunteers.

Her body was eventually discovered in a vacant lot close to the Constitución de 1917 metro station. A neighbor, who noticed a strong odor coming from an abandoned building, alerted emergency services. Police officers from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) quickly secured the scene, while specialists from the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office carried out the recovery of the remains.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the victim’s body showed evidence of violence, and a formal femicide investigation has now been launched. Early findings suggest she may have suffered abuse before being killed, though the final autopsy report will confirm the exact cause of death.
