Photos of the Fenty Beauty CEO and her children at a recent red carpet event have kicked off a lively discussion online, with fans pointing out just how much the boys resemble their famous father.
Rihanna appeared at the “Smurfs” premiere in Los Angeles over the weekend, accompanied by her two sons, RZA and Riot. The singer, who is currently expecting her third child, wore a voluminous chocolate gown with a lace bodice and floor-length skirt, paired with an oversized leather jacket and moss-green sash.

Her sons wore coordinated outfits: Riot in a green jacket and white pants, and RZA in cargo-style trousers with a bright pink shirt. As the trio posed for photos, fans were quick to compare the boys’ features to those of their father, ASAP Rocky.

One commenter wrote, “He gave those kids his entire face.” A second added, “We suffer the pregnancy so they can be the same copy as the father.” Another joked, “Man if that’s not his daddy’s face.”

“Both look like Rocky,” said one Instagrammer. Another observed, “They are the copy of the father.” A more detailed take read, “It’s cute. They look like mini Asaps with Riri’s forehead.”

“They definitely have dad’s smile,” one fan pointed out. Another remarked, “The oldest son looks like ASAPs mother [sic].” One playful comment asked, “Did Rihanna’s genes even break a sweat?”

Some viewers focused on individual comparisons. One said Riot looked just like his father, while another believed RZA was the spitting image of ASAP.

A few responses stood apart as well. One person commented that the boys “look adopted.” Another wished that one of the children had inherited Rihanna’s green eyes.

There were also exaggerated remarks. One netizen added that the brothers resembled twins more than siblings born in different years.

Rihanna’s recent appearance with her children came just days after she and her family traveled to Barbados for her father’s funeral. In an interview conducted during the “Smurfs” premiere by Entertainment Tonight, the business mogul briefly addressed her father’s passing.

When asked whether Ronald Fenty had the chance to meet his grandsons, she responded, “Listen, I’ve always wanted that. I’ve always dreamed of what type of grandfather he would be to them because of the favorite parts of my dad.”

She went on to describe the traits she hopes to pass on, saying, “The adventurous side of me, the outside side of me, the daredevil running around outside barefoot, free. That was the funnest part of my life, my childhood.” “It’s how I want to raise them… no tablet babies. He inspired all of that,” she added.
In a separate conversation earlier this year with Harper’s Bazaar, Rihanna spoke about her sons’ personalities. RZA, she said, “is just an empath… He loves music. He loves melody. He loves books. He loves water.”

Riot, on the other hand, is full of energy. “He’s just hilarious. When he wakes up, he starts to squeal, scream… He’s not taking no for an answer from anyone. I don’t know where he came from, dude.”

The singer added that RZA had initially struggled to adjust to his younger brother’s arrival, “like all [new] siblings do,” but noted that Riot now “knows he’s in charge.”
Rihanna also revealed that her youngest son’s name came from Pharrell Williams, who offered it while working with ASAP. “He gave us this name thinking it was going to be a girl… Pharrell is very deep,” she said.
