Real estate broker and former reality TV personality Sara Burack has died following a hit-and-run early Thursday morning in Hampton Bays, Southampton Town Police confirmed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Burack, 40, was found unconscious in the roadway around 2:45 a.m. on Montauk Highway, near the Villa Paul Restaurant, that Thursday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to\u00a0Southampton police, a 911 caller reported seeing a woman lying in the street. Officers arrived at the scene shortly after and discovered she had sustained severe injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle that had fled the area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Emergency medical personnel from Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance responded and transported the victim to Stony Brook University Hospital.\u00a0Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries later that day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meanwhile, at the time of the incident,\u00a0police were unable\u00a0to identify the woman due to the severity of her condition. However, by late Thursday afternoon,\u00a0authorities confirmed the victim as Sara Burack, a Southampton resident.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Burack was best known for her successful career in luxury real estate and her appearance on the Netflix reality series “Million Dollar Beach House” which followed a team of elite realtors navigating high-stakes property deals in the Hamptons.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She had\u00a0previously worked with Nest Seekers International and was widely recognized in both the New York City and Hamptons real estate markets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Following the announcement of her death, tributes poured in across social media. One of the most poignant came from her close friend, Paulette Orlando-Corsair, who\u00a0posted\u00a0a heartfelt message recalling Burack’s vibrant personality and the painful final moments of her life:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“My dear Sara Burack, my beautiful friend. I will remember you like you were in this photo. One of the real last times we went out before things turned for the worse. I did everything in my power to get u better. I told u I would be there til the end & I held that promise to u.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

She also recounted how Burack was\u00a0rushed to the hospital\u00a0with devastating injuries to her head, brain, liver, and leg, and how doctors determined that nothing more could be done.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“You were kind, generous, funny & full of life & drama. We loved her the way she was, all of it,\u201d She\u00a0added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The post described a deep sense of loss and a promise to organize a memorial in the Hamptons for friends and loved ones to honor Burack’s life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meanwhile, Southampton Town Police Detectives and the New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit say\u00a0the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

No suspect has been identified, and no vehicle description has been released. Police have not confirmed whether any surveillance footage from nearby businesses has been reviewed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
