They weren\u2019t really about nails at all\u2014they hinted at choice, perception, and how we quietly try to understand ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>As my friend Lena and I talked, the caf\u00e9 hummed around us. She admitted how often she felt pulled between opposite traits: being practical and spontaneous, strong and sensitive. The card became a simple metaphor. Each image could represent a different side of a person\u2014the planner and the risk-taker, the caregiver and the one who needs care.
